NYC-based North/South Chamber Ochestra has programmed Tangents II for the Season Finale of the 2011-2012 season of its North/South Consonance music series. North/South Chamber Orchestra, now in its 32nd season, has been praised by the NY Times (March 2010) for performing contemporary music with “…frenetic enlightenment…” in its on-going series at Christ and St. Stephen’s Church – a venue known for its superior acoustics. Yao Chen’s Tangents II will be performed alongside works by David Farrell and Christopher James, as well as North/South founding director, Max Lifchitz.
