Sfumato is being played by Quintet of the Americas

New York, NY – The Quintet of the Americas will perform Yao Chen’s Sfumato at four Summer Solstice concerts in Queens:
On Tuesday, June 21 at 11 AM at the Salvation Army Temple, 86-07 35th Avenue in Jackson Heights
On Wednesday, June 22 at 12:15 PM at Catholic Charities Neighborhood Services Bayside Senior Center, 221-15 Horace Harding Boulevard, in Bayside
On Friday, June 24 at 1:00 PM at Community Mediation Services, 89-64 163rd Street in Jamaica
On Sunday, June 26 at 2:30PM at Queens Botanical Garden, 43-50 Main Street, Flushing, NY 11355
The programs will also feature music from the Quintet’s Sounds of Brazil CD and will also include two premieres, Little Polka by Douglaston-resident composer James Cohn and Water Run from Kukulkan III by David Dzubay. Also on the program – Shout Chorusby Kenji Bunch, and Azalea by Duke Ellington.
